What is the deal with clothing companies including a little baggie of buttons on new clothes? Does anyone actually save these buttons? Are there useful ways to use the baggies that contain the buttons? I always throw them away, but just wondered...

Ha! I save those for some still unknown craft project. The funny thing is that I had to replace a button on Doug's pants last week. I went looking in the button stash, and even with all that I save, I still couldn't find a match and we had to make due with a different color. I draw the line at saving the baggies and the small amount of extra thread that comes with sweaters. So now you know who saves all those little buttons :)
